Patchell and Schrecongost love letters from 1882 to 1970’s. My grandparents became my teachers of history by looking into the family tree.

 

Originally it started with stories and developed into the next step, locating relatives with my guide Amy Patchell, my grandmother. We started with her wedding invitations, her Christmas card list, and those wonderful 5,000 letters.

However the first story was about our family in the Doomsday Book in England - this is 1066 AD - Imagine! Our history got even better, we go back to 974 AD - we’re royalty, we had a castle, town and church, in Yorkshire, England.
